Dr.Akira Sawaki specializes in gastroenterology and has extensive expertise in cancer chemotherapy. As the head of the Oncology Center, he is committed to providing the highest quality medical care in collaboration with various specialists. Dr. Sawaki’s dedication goes beyond treatment; he is passionate about improving the quality of life for his patients. He often says, “I want to see my patients smile,” reflecting his compassionate approach to patient care.

While we strive to deliver the highest quality of care based on the latest evidence-based medicine, we also prioritize the quality of life, carefully balancing the risks and benefits of cancer treatment and care. To achieve this, our center acts as a hub, coordinating with specialists from various fields, including physicians, nurses, clinical psychologists, pharmacists, dietitians, social workers, and rehabilitation experts.
